Your core training comes first. Massage Alliance’s international credentials put documented education and professional commitment into a shared association framework. Their purpose is recognition within the profession and among businesses across borders; they do not replace qualifications or licences required by a country.

Select Your Professional Credential

Explore the international professional designations and identify the pathway that fits your training and experience. Confirm the current criteria for your chosen category before applying.

Individual Therapist Certifications (CMP)

CMP 200: A pathway based on documented foundational massage education. Confirm the required training hours, content and evidence with the association.

CMP 500: A pathway for applicants with more extensive documented massage education. Assessment considers the applicable educational criteria.

Experienced Certified Massage Professional:

Credential for professionals with verified experience who demonstrate advanced skills, professional maturity, and commitment to Massage Alliance standards.

S-CMP: A pathway oriented towards sports massage education and professional practice. It does not grant authority to diagnose or treat conditions outside your existing scope.

O-CMP: Ask the association to clarify this pathway and its educational criteria. A Massage Alliance designation does not confer the legal title or professional authorisation of an osteopath.

How to Obtain Your Massage Alliance Seal

Whether you are an individual therapist, a training school, or a wellness center, our association assessment process is straightforward and rigorous:

1. Prepare Your Documentation

Professionals: prepare your qualifications, training record and evidence of self-employed registration or applicable professional status. Include continuing education and liability insurance documents where requested.

Schools: prepare your curriculum, learning objectives, teaching-team details and approach to practical training, assessment and professional ethics. Start with an enquiry so we can explain what your pathway requires.

2. Submit & Audit

Begin with an enquiry. When applications open, follow the instructions for submitting your documents and completing the assessment for your chosen pathway.

3. Receive Your Massage Alliance Seal

Applicants who meet the relevant criteria receive the applicable international credential or professional quality mark. The association explains its format, renewal conditions and permitted use.
