The application process for membership in Massage Alliance.
The procedures for documentary evaluation, granting, use, maintenance, and revocation of private certifications and quality seals issued by the Association.
Access to the website and/or submission of a membership application implies the express, full, and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
3. NATURE AND FUNCTION OF MASSAGE ALLIANCE
Massage Alliance is a private and independent non-profit Association dedicated exclusively to:
The documentary evaluation of training, experience, and professional requirements declared by natural or legal persons.
The private certification of professional standards within the field of massage and manual therapies.
The granting of associative, non-official quality seals.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Massage Alliance is not a public authority, a professional college (colegio profesional), or a regulatory body.
Certifications issued do not constitute official degrees, do not legally authorize professional practice, and do not replace licenses, administrative authorizations, or mandatory registrations required by the legislation of each country.
Massage Alliance does not provide health, medical, or therapeutic services, nor does it supervise the clinical practice of certified professionals.
4. MEMBERSHIP AND ADHESION PROCEDURE
Membership status is acquired following:
Voluntary application by the interested party.
Submission of the required documentation.
Documentary evaluation according to current internal criteria.
Express acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Code of Ethics.
Massage Alliance reserves the right to accept or reject any application without the obligation to justify the decision, particularly if the documentation is incomplete, inconsistent, or raises reasonable doubt.
5. SCOPE AND LIMITS OF THE QUALITY SEAL
The Massage Alliance Quality Seal:
Exclusively accredits that the member has passed a documentary evaluation process at the time of issuance.
Does not imply continuous supervision, nor does it guarantee results, practical competencies, or the absence of professional errors.
Does not constitute an endorsement, clinical recommendation, or guarantee to third parties.
The use of the seal is strictly limited to authorized terms. Any improper, misleading, or unauthorized use shall be grounds for immediate revocation.
6. DOCUMENTARY VERACITY AND MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY
The member declares under their sole responsibility that:
All information and documentation provided is truthful, authentic, and up to date.
They hold the necessary rights to provide their own documentation or that of third parties.
The detection of false, altered, or misleading documentation will result in:
Immediate revocation of the Quality Seal.
Permanent expulsion from Massage Alliance.
Forfeiture of all economic rights, with no right to a refund.
Express reservation of legal action for document forgery or reputational damage.
7. THIRD-PARTY DATA AND INDEMNITY CLAUSE
When a member (Spa, School, or other entity) provides personal data of employees, collaborators, or third parties, they guarantee that they have a valid legal basis and have previously informed the interested parties. The member agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Massage Alliance harmless from any claim, penalty, legal cost, or damage arising from the breach of this obligation.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Massage Alliance shall not be held liable for:
Professional, clinical, therapeutic, or commercial actions performed by members.
Personal, material, or moral damages resulting from the practice of certified professionals.
Misuse of the Quality Seal by third parties.
Content, services, or practices of linked external websites.
The user acknowledges that certification is a declaratory and associative act, not a guarantee of future conduct.
9. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND CYBERSECURITY
Massage Alliance applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and continuity of the website. However, permanent availability and the total absence of errors, interruptions, or unavoidable cyber incidents are not guaranteed. Massage Alliance shall not be liable for damages resulting from force majeure or technically unforeseeable attacks, provided it has acted with due diligence.
10. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
All website content (texts, logos, seals, designs, structure) is owned by Massage Alliance or used under license. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is prohibited, especially for misleading or competitive purposes.
